Everyday Planning

A small firm, on purpose.

Everyday Planning was built around a simple idea: most people don't need exotic advice. They need someone steady who knows their whole picture and answers the phone.

Why the name

Financial planning has a reputation for being about rare, dramatic moments — the windfall, the sale, the retirement party. In practice the decisions that shape a life are ordinary and repeated. What you save this month. Which account it goes into. Whether to fix the roof or the car. We named the firm after the work that actually matters.

How we're paid

We are fee-only. Our income comes from clients and nowhere else — no commissions, no product payouts, no referral arrangements. That doesn't make us smarter than anyone else, but it does mean that when we recommend something, there's no second reason behind it.

Who we work with

Families and individuals who want a plan they can understand and a person they can call. We keep the client list small enough that you always talk to whoever wrote your plan, and we'd rather say no to a poor fit than take on work we can't do well.

The evergreen

The tree in our mark isn't decoration. It's the plainest thing we know that keeps growing through the winters — which is roughly the whole idea.

Fee-only

Paid by you, never by a product company.

Fiduciary, always

Your interest comes first, in writing, on every engagement.

No minimum

No account size quietly ruling people out.

One planner

The person who writes your plan is the person you call.
